Sweat
Last night, the night before the beginning of law school, I thought I felt fine. I told everyone was was excited and not a bit nervous. I acted confident, ready to face a new challenge.
Little did I know my subconscious would reveal the truth.
I did not think it was actually possible, but I woke up in a literal pool of sweat. I woke up after about an hour of sleep; my shirt completely drenched. My pillow soaked with sweat.
I actually thought I had peed my bed. A quick check of my underwear revealed that I had not.
No, I just woke up sweating like crazy even in a room with the A/C blasting.
Sleep did not come easy afterwards. I kept having nightmares and waking up longing for someone or something.
At least I made it through my first day unscathed and excited for the future.

The funny thing is that I actually paid someone to pour a bucket of water on you that night. Best $5 I've ever spent.
